I was part of the Fair State Brewing Co-op staff for a few years, including the COVID-19 pandemic. My time there was two things: collaborative and fun and stress from the pandemic and staffing. This meant working remotely, mainly by my lonesome to create visual content for different beer releases. With both limited resources and contact with others, I was really pushed creatively. Here are some of my favorite images from my time at Fair State, including a re-brand of Pils.
We took inspiration from old lager ads in the 50's and 60's. I used to 80 year old lens with an adapter to work with my digital camera to achieve the look.
